Tina Fey

Tina Fey is my definite pick for Best Dressed at this year’s 61st Primetime Emmy Awards. Yes, Heidi Klum may have looked like a sexy pregnant mama in black but Tina Fey wins hands down for overall tasteful elegance.

This black Gucci is seriously kicking some fashionista ass with the gentle yet subtle draping at the back and the beautiful bejewelled embellishment. Tina doesn’t usually do loud and colourful but is always chic. Who says black is boring?

Blake Lively

I loved Blake Lively in this sizzling chilli red Versace. The plunging back and  the dangly sequin band was gorgeous. For a statuesque blonde bombshell the thigh-high slit adds just the right touch of foxiness to the outfit.

Leighton Meester

Although I still adore Leighton Meester, I feel as if she could have done a wee bit better. The concept is well thought out i.e. flowy white Grecian dress and red-red lips but the execution leaves a little to be desired. I’m not digging the huge shoulder pads/sponges as they seem to overwhelm her lithe frame. It’s alright, Leighton. I still love you regardless.

Sarah Silverman

Where do I begin? The colour is a hideous shade of royal blue. I don’t get the chiffon wings either. And her boobs look like they’ve been smooshed together with a large satin bow.

Note to self: if you have an hour-glass figure, the last thing you would want to do is to attach saddle-bags to your gown.
